About Me

As a kid I was fascinated by how things worked. I would take apart anything I could get my hands, or my screwdriver, on. Rest assured that if you left your clock radio near me unsupervised I was going to take it apart and "Fix" it for you. Even if nothing was wrong with it. This desire to understand how things worked and build things with my hands ulitmately followed my into adulthood. In 2010, almost by chance, I was introduced to a cool little device called arduino. Watching videos and tutorials I learned enough about programming to eventually build a fully functional alarm system for my home, complete with motion sensors and access keypads. Needless to say, I WAS HOOKED. Shortly after I was able to secure an IT position with a local software company. This allowed me the oportunity to aggravate the developers with tons of questions about software development. At the advice of the senior developer (probably to make me stop asking so many questions) I enrolled in a local college to begin my journey unraveling the awesome subject that is Software Engineering.
